Choose a target status, then check fields that must be populated
to enter that status on Pitch Revenue (projects.html).
Requirements are additive: moving to a later status also enforces every
field required by earlier statuses in the pipeline (e.g. Qualified Lead rules still apply at
Inspection Assigned). Edit inherited fields on the status where they were first added.
Leadership approval is a special toggle: checking it on a status means a deal can't move there until the salesperson's sales leader and each estimator's estimating leader approve it on the deal workspace (the submitter must enter a reason). It isn't a field to fill in — the deal stays on its prior status until approved.
Terminal statuses (Closed - Won, Closed - Lost,
Plan for the Future, Not a Fit) are selected from the deal
status dropdown like any other stage, but choosing one opens the disposition capture
flow (win scopes / GC, lost or not-a-fit reason) instead of writing the status directly.
They are not gated by the cumulative required-field rules above. Configure email
